Pakistani film actress Laila has opened up about her past and expressed regret over some of her previous bold performances, saying she has given up activities that went against her religious beliefs and what she believes is pleasing to Allah.
Speaking during a recent reality show, Laila said that over the past few years she had made certain commitments to her faith after reflecting on different aspects of her life.
The actress said she came to realise that there were some things in her past that she believed were disliked by Allah. This realisation led her to make changes and distance herself from those activities.
Laila said she has permanently left such activities behind and now wants to move forward rather than remain focused on her past.
She also expressed regret over some of her earlier bold performances, saying that she wants to leave that chapter of her life behind and focus on the future.
Laila has been associated with Pakistan’s film industry since the 1990s and has appeared in numerous films during her long career, gaining recognition for her performances and work in the Pakistani entertainment industry.
