Following the reduction, the new petrol price has been fixed at Rs. 327.62 per litre<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD)<\/strong> has also been reduced by Rs. 1.50 per litre<\/strong>. The new price of high-speed diesel has been set at Rs. 380.86 per litre<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Meanwhile, the government has increased the petroleum levy on high-speed diesel by 81 paisa per litre<\/strong>. The levy has been raised from Rs. 73.47 to Rs. 74.28 per litre<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The petroleum levy on petrol, however, has remained unchanged at Rs. 80 per litre<\/strong>, according to the announcement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The latest reduction is expected to provide some relief to motorists and transport operators, although diesel prices remain significantly higher than petrol
