The United Arab Emirates Ministry of Defence has denied reports that Al Minhad Air Base was targeted by missiles or drones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the ministry, reports circulating in the media about an attack on the air base are inaccurate. However, UAE defence systems successfully intercepted a drone that entered the country\u2019s airspace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The UAE Ministry of Defence said the country remains fully prepared to deal with any potential threat. Authorities have also urged citizens to rely only on official sources for information and avoid spreading rumours or unverified reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The UAE statement came hours after the Iranian military claimed that it had targeted the location of US forces and helicopters at Al Minhad Air Base with dozens of drones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
