The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has launched its Regional Under-19 Academies Programme across the country, aimed at developing young cricketing talent and preparing promising players for professional cricket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the PCB, the programme has been established for 20 regional teams representing 16 regions. The teams will conduct their training sessions at their respective regional headquarters as part of the development initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Each regional team will consist of 25 Under-19 players who will receive structured training to improve their cricketing skills and gain a better understanding of the demands of professional cricket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The programme will focus on both on-field and off-field development. Young players will be introduced to professional standards, discipline and other aspects of the game alongside their regular cricket training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Under-19 players will also get competitive match experience through white-ball one-day and red-ball three-day tournaments. Participation in different formats is expected to help players improve their adaptability and gain valuable match exposure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The initiative is part of the PCB\u2019s efforts to identify and develop young talent at the regional level. Players who perform consistently will have an opportunity to progress towards higher levels of domestic and professional cricket in the future.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
