Two Turkish-flagged commercial vessels collided in the Sea of Marmara, leaving 10 crew members missing. Search and rescue operations are currently underway to locate the missing individuals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Turkish media reports, the accident occurred around 18 miles off the coast when the vessels Alsu<\/strong> and Togberk Imamoglu<\/strong> collided with each other. The incident has raised concerns over the safety of the crew members aboard the vessels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Reports indicate that the Alsu<\/strong> was carrying approximately 2,999 tonnes of engine oil<\/strong>, while the Togberk Imamoglu<\/strong> was loaded with around 4,199 tonnes of steel coils<\/strong> at the time of the collision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Following the accident, communication with the Togberk Imamoglu<\/strong> was reportedly lost. Authorities immediately launched search and rescue efforts to locate the missing crew members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Rescue teams are continuing operations in the surrounding waters, searching for any survivors and assessing the condition of both vessels.
