The Asian Cricket Council has announced the schedules for the men’s and women’s cricket competitions at the Asian Games, with the cricket event set to take place from September 17 to October 3.
According to the schedule, the Pakistan women’s cricket team will begin its Asian Games campaign on September 17 against Thailand.
The women’s semi-finals will be played on September 20, while the women’s final and third-place playoff are scheduled for September 22.
Meanwhile, the men’s cricket qualifying round will take place from September 24 to 26. Pakistan’s men’s team will face the second-placed team from Group B in the quarter-final stage on September 28.
The two men’s semi-finals are scheduled for October 1, while the men’s cricket final will be played on October 3.
Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka have been included among the seeded teams for the event and will advance directly to the quarter-final stage.
