An important development has emerged ahead of the third Test between Pakistan and England, with all-rounder Salman Ali Agha set to be released from the national squad, according to sources.
Sources said Salman Ali Agha will be released from the squad today but will remain in England. Further details regarding his stay in the country have not yet been disclosed.
All-rounder Aamer Jamal could also be released from the squad, according to sources, potentially leading to further changes in Pakistan’s combination ahead of the third Test.
Meanwhile, several players are scheduled to travel to England to join the squad. Saim Ayub, Arafat Minhas, wicketkeeper Saad Masood, Saad Baig and Abdullah Fazal are expected to leave for England today.
Sources also said the visa process for Imran Junior and Razaullah is currently underway. The two players are expected to join the squad once their visas are issued.
